Day 49: Great school day!

Monday. September 24, 2012.

My logic in philosophy professor is so awesome! I knew I would find this subject interesting, but I didn't think I would like it so much. Professors do matter. His enthusiasm is just contagious.

Yesterday, I was trying to help my brother with his assignment. It was definitely not something that I had come across before. Usually if I read the text or look at some examples, I can figure things out. We had some examples that I looked at, and I understood the examples but I was lost with his assignment question that it was disappointing. So I thought I'll go and sit in my brothers lecture so I could get an idea of what is going on. The lecture was not bad, that I understood everything, but the professor didn't really teach anything that I couldn't learn by myself just by reading her lecture notes. Discrete math is quite a bit like my logic class, only difference is that it obviously involves math.

I also met a old friend, who I couldn't meet through the summer unfortunately. It was nice to see her after so long. I love having that kind of friends. It doesn't matter how many weeks, months, years later you meet them and nothing has changed even a bit.
