Hurricane Sandy struck the east coast today. There has been little damage in Toronto since the morning. I had to really hold the steering wheel as I drove to and back from work. The car was literally swerving off the road because of the strong winds. I was surprised since it is a big 7 seater SUV and I did not think Sandy would have such an effect in Toronto. It was dumb of me to choose the same route I take everyday since it goes through open grounds, where there are no building or trees for that matter to slow the winds a little, but nevertheless I got home safe. However, Toronto Downtown was effected more showed signs of damage from Sandy.
